Galboda Falls (ගල්බොඩ ඇල්ල)
Galboda Ella is a beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is located by Nuwara Eliya
District. Galboda is a nice station along the railway track of Colombo
to Badulla. There is so much nature scenery and animals. The environment
is very cool with much rain.
There is a beautiful waterfall higher than 30 m, but the width ranges from between 3–6 m, depending on the season. The waterfall is situated with distance of 1–2 km from the Galboda railway station. the people used to call the waterfall as Galaboda waterfall.
The area is closed to Watawala where the highest rainfall is received out of the country. Annual rainfall here exceeds 4500 mm. 60% of the rain coming from the south-west monsoo.

The People
Galboda is an isolated village located in between Nawalapitiya & Watawala, in the Colombo-Badulla, the upcountry railway. Since there is not a well-developed road system yet, the railway is the only source of transportation for the villagers & travelers. The people are working in tea plantations. - Wikipedia
