On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day (December 18), we celebrate an ancient language that, throughout the centuries, has served as a vessel of knowledge and a source of human thought, playing a pivotal role in the transmission of sciences and the building of civilizations. With its expressive richness and structural flexibility, Arabic is not merely a language of history, but a living tool capable of interacting with the changes and demands of our time.
Given its cultural significance, the Arabic language has received increasing attention at official and institutional levels, in recognition of its importance in strengthening cultural identity and fostering a sense of belonging, as well as in supporting education, knowledge, and creativity. In this context, Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 affirms that the Arabic language is a fundamental element in human development and societal progress, through supporting its presence in education, media, culture, and technology, enhancing Arabic content, and linking the language to cultural and intellectual development projects.
